Closing the doors

We just decided it was time…

Time to simplify our lives.

Create space.

Focus on ourselves.

Give our own individual businesses and clients the love they need and deserve.

The decision to close the doors is never going to be easy, especially when you have an amazing business partner with a growing business. So why do it?

There comes a point in time when you realise how exhausted and stretched you are, to do it all, comes great sacrifice. You must sit down and think hard about what you want your life to be about, where you want to spend your time and energy, what realistic outcome can you expect when only giving specific amounts of time and energy.

Maybe we were too ambitious!?! I think that would be a good representation of what we both wanted from The Vault and our own businesses. It is hard to close the doors of a business, and selling our baby was not an option. Time is always a factor and when working with a business partner you need to be clear on time and expectations. We always agreed that our own businesses come first, and The Vault was complimentary. When we have all businesses growing at the same time, it becomes a stretch. What a nice dilemma to have…

We had amazing clients and members that we worked with over strategy coffees, workshops, mastermind sessions and we will forever cherish those times and memories. It is near impossible to describe the level of trust, and connection we built. We were invested and in it together, through the ups and the downs. Also, a special mention to our supporters that didn’t necessarily use/need our services but would always cheers us on from the sidelines, forever grateful.

The major decision was forced upon us after sharing the rollercoaster of Covid. We pushed through stress, uncertainty, and the everlasting effects of strain it caused us and many of our business owners, some not making it through the other side. We are still here for you and always will be.

As many of us have learnt through hard times, after the rain, comes the rainbow. We learnt lessons, yes, we are human too. It highlighted the need to practice what we preach – balanced, healthy lifestyles. We know what to do, and sometimes need a little help or a nice little push from our body sending us signs, to embed it.

So, we come to the crossroad and something had to give for us to manage our energy, perform at our best in all areas of life. Again, forever grateful to have been in business with the best partner a girl could ask for. What made it so good? You will have to stay tuned, there may be a podcast or interview in this space…

The silver lining, a friendship (because we were told quite forcefully, there are NO friends in business). Even though we have officially closed the doors to The Vault, we still co-work, have at least one walking meeting each week and continue to think and create ways to work together (in and around our existing businesses). We can’t help it, it’s a good fit.
